The Truth About Your Feet

Feet should not hurt. If they do, you need to see a podiatrist.

New shoes should fit well at the time you buy them. There is no break in period.

Excessive sweating or odor is not normal. It has many causes, most of which are easily treated.  If your feet sweat a lot, try wearing socks made from all natural fibers, such as wool, or a cotton and polyester or nylon blended fiber.

Many people with broken bones can and do walk on them, unaware that the bones are broken.

Cutting a “V” will not relieve pressure from an ingrown nail.  Only by removing the offending portion of the nail border can a painful ingrown nail be corrected. A podiatrist is specially trained to effectively treat this very common nail problem.
